Having an efficient day starts off from the moment we get out of bed. Although there’s nothing wrong with having a slow morning on a day off or whenever we want to take it easy, most days are work days and busy days.
That’s when using the time we have in the morning in the most efficient time saving way possible comes in handy. Here are my tips for saving time and getting out of the house or into your home office in the most efficient way possible.
Tidy up before bed
It’s amazing how much more organised your mornings will feel when you do a quick tidy up the night before. Wash the dishes or load up the dishwasher after dinner, wipe the kitchen bench tops, and fold up the laundry that’s been sitting there the whole day.
You’ll be glad you did when you wake up to less chaos in the morning. It comes down to the way a clean, tidy environment impacts on how busy or stressed you feel as a result.
Pick out your outfit
This time saving tip goes without saying. Your outfit should be ironed and ready to go for the morning.
Simplify your personal care routine
This mostly applies to us ladies. There’s really no need for 10 or more rigorous steps in our make up routine especially on a work weekday.
If you can’t do without a full set of makeup, you can use products that can be used for more than one purpose. For example, a stick foundation can double as a concealer.
